Charty
Finally, the Ironwork Socks charts are done! I’ve had my nose to the computer for the past week, finishing up the font and ironing out these charts. What a frustrating process.
Anyone want to test knit? There are three sizes, so it’s suitable for a range of foot sizes and yarn weights. I’m especially looking for anyone willing to knit the smallest size (over 64 sts) and the largest (80 sts). The pattern is mostly charted, with written instructions for the heel and toe action. If you’re interested, comment here or drop me an email at kelpknits at gmail dot com.
ETA: Ok, I think I’m set! I’ll get back to everyone tomorrow. Yay for the people in the internets!

I’m usually a lurker here, but if you’re still in need of a test knitter, I’d love to help out. This pattern is gorgeous and I’ve been looking forward to the release.
ooh i’ll knit the smallest size for you! is it all lace work or is there cabling as well?
of course, I’m right in the middle at 68 sts! :) Those charts are amazing – I can only imagine how much work they were!
What kind of time frame are you thinking about for the test knitting? I may be very interested . . .
I have lurked here since I first saw those beautiful socks! I would be willing to test knit in any size you need, if you still need someone. If not, get fast test knitters, so I can acquire the pattern quicker ;)
I just sent you an email about test knitting, but I thought I should leave a comment here in case I messed up the email part! I just love how you did the heel on those socks.
How soon do you need them? I have SUPER SMALL feet :) I would love to be a test knitter!
Am I too late? I want help with the test knitting! I could do little (moms has tiny feet) or big (I has big feet).
Hey Kelly, I wouldn’t mind. I have nothing to knit now. Then I can show them to you at stitch and bitch!!
Hi! Delurking to say that I’d love to test knit – the larger sizes would be best :). Let me know if you need me, or not. Thank you!
Wow, it appears that legions of test knitters were simply waiting for your call to action! I am most impressed.
i’m always on for some hawt sock testing action!
How exciting! These socks are so beautiful.
I’d love to test knit the smallest size for you! These socks are gorgeous. Also, I’m really jealous of your charting skills. Great job!
Yo!!!! You know how wee my socks usually are so I’d be happy to test out the small size for you. I normally knit my socks on 64 stitches anyway. Besides, this would give me an excuse to order some STR in a shaded-solid color.
It seems like you have plenty of test knitters, but if you need one more, let me know. :)
…..so, you’re good then?
Well, it looks like you’ve got plenty of test knitters, so I’ll just say that I’m very much looking forward to the pattern coming out!
If you need any more test knitters let me know. Congrats on finishing the charts – hooray!
OO, exciting. I added you to my bloglines when i saw those socks so i’m glad to see the pattern getting close. of course, i have been very glad to have added you, being a fan of kittens, pretty sweaters, and funny sewn rabbits with big feet!
I have small feet! I do!
… I know I’m lots late but you can always try… :)
I’ll knit big footed ones for you. :) You know, cause I’ve got big ole yeti feet.
Wow, that is clever stuff. I wouldn’t have a clue how to do those charts!
i love these socks! they are so cool and i love the heel most of all. it must have taken you awhile to plan it all out. i know you’ve already got a million folks for the smallest size, but i would also be willing to do it. of course, i could do any of the others as needed, too. just let me know! well done again!
Alas, I’m too late! But I’ll be first in line when you release the real thing. :)
I would love to test knit the large size if you still need anyone. The pattern is simply beautiful….
Ooo, I’m way too late to offer my services, but I’m looking forward to your pattern becoming available!
