Finished-ish

Are you sick of the blue yet? Because I sure am. I sort of finished the sockpalooza socks!

I wasn’t even going to blog about this, because Alert The Presses, Kelly Has Frogged Something For Some Anal Retentive Reason. The heel flap on sock one differed from both my notes and sock number two. Also, the foot edge patterning could best be described as assy. So, we ripped everything and all is well.

But! I was working on this at the doctor’s office this morning, and I lost! a! chart! I have three pieces of graph paper that I tote around, one for each chart, and the heel chart is probably still sitting in exam room 6. The heel chart is a bit of a pain to recreate and the sheet also contained all of my heel turning numbers. The socks are now officially fraternal twins. Sorry, sockpal.

I lost a bit of the sock love today. Silver still likes them, though.

Don’t let that cute exterior fool you - all she wants to do is eat that sock.

I’m not sick of the blue yet!! I’m sorry to hear that you lost your chart. I’m sure your sock pal won’t even notice that they are fraternal, she’ll be so stunned at how gorgeous they are.

Augh! Stupid lost chart. So frustrating. Can you cal the doctor’s office? (”Um, hi, I lost a piece of paper with incredibly elaborate graphs and symbols on it….anyone find that lying around?”)

Oh, horrors! :( I’m sorry about that chart, but it’s maybe worth a call to the office?

The color is exquisite and I could never be tired of it. :) I’m sure your pal will love the fraternal socks.

I feel your pain! My sock pal is getting fraternal twins too (color-wise, not pattern-wise). Your socks are looking much nicer than mine, though.

how is it that our furry kids know just what to do to look so cute in pictures when in reality, they are drooling all over our woolens and handknits, waiting to pounce and bounce the minute the picture has been taken?! :o)
i must admit, i think silver i my favorite of your kitties…
it’s so hard to decide…of course, all 3 together in a big pile’o'furry goodness beats all!
    p.s. the socks? so purdy…**drool**…

I just love those socks! Too bad about the frogging though. They’ll be so beautiful when finished! I love that lace pattern.
