the sea wool is coming out so pretty – I love how the darker bits congregated at the centers! The traveling stitches are so nice – I have yet to try them, but keep flipping to them in my stitch pattern books!

Love the haircut. I’m the type who cant wear bangs lest I find endearing the whole cowlick, freakish 1980’s stand-up and flip over bang-business type thing. Great swatches too…particularly the shetland triangle. I made one during the winter with Cascade 220 in this cranberry shade (unfortunetly no pics to show) and it came out great. Little bulky, so I think the seasilk will definetly do it justice. Such an easy pattern to remember too. :)

I have some Handmaiden Sea Silk somewhat similar to your Sea Wool (in color) and I had the hardest time deciding what to use the beautiful yarn for. I love your swatch! I was thinking of doing the Melon Scarf from Victorian Lace Today, but I like how your Shetland Triangle swatch is looking……

Love the new haircut! I’ve had bangs all my life, so I never worry about growing them out. :)

This post made me nostalgic about Rochester (lived there for six years). I had never heard of sponge candy until I moved to Western NY. There is a Cadbury candy bar called “Crunch” that’s very similar, but I don’t think it’s distributed in the US.

Oh crap! I was just admiring Sea Wool online yesterday but managed to resist its seirenes’ call. Now I can feel my will crumbling…

All the swatches look great, in addition to the Sea Wool, I really love the Twisted Flower sock pattern. It looks so intricate.

OMG, why *wouldn’t* you be in love with the Sea Wool? It’s frickin gorgeous! It is rockin’ the Shetland Triangle, too.
