Just under the wire

A classy bathroom mirror shot, in our new bathroom!

I really wanted to finish something this month, so here’s the somewhat unflattering Asymmetrical Cardigan. I finished the sweater this morning, while waiting around for the appliances to show up and the movers to arrive. Details forthcoming, we just moved today and I’m beat. The moving went amazingly smoothly, although the cats were totally freaking out when they arrived at the new digs. They’re down with the place now, I can hear one of them trying to claw their way into the cupboards. Silver is going to be pissed when she finds the childproof drawers in the bathroom…

The AsymCardi is and AWESOME Cardi - I like the color more every time I see it and wow - the cables look great - perfect yarn you picked for the project!

Looking at the bathroom there makes me remember how an empty house always seems so cold and full of echos. Won’t be long and it’ll be cozy and homey with all your stuff unpacked! I’m sending unpacking mojo your way! :)

Looks great! Gorgeous colour. I’d been wondering how that cardi knitted up.

Congrats on the move! It will only get easier from here.

It’s hard to see the sweater really well, but what I can see looks great. I like the way the pattern runs right from the body into the sleeves with no shoulder seams.

beautiful! maybe once your settled (and prying the cats out of the cabinets!) you can take a more “modeled” pic so we can see better - what I can see so far looks great! The color is amazing!

Ok, you’re crazy to be blogging about KNITTING so soon after your move.

Settle in, pet your cats, and then worry about knitting!

I’m sorry that you’re not happy with the cardigan. Perhaps it would look better with more ease.

I love the cardi! That color looks fantastic on you.

Christine was right, there is a cyborg element going on with the camera eye AND you look sooo serious. I can’t see the collar, but everything else looks just fine. I had an issue with snug, buttoned cardies on me, but I got over it. It is a really gorgeous color. Just wear it, you’ll get used to it.

Looks cute! I can’t wait to see pics of the house other than the bathroom, the attic, and the a/c unit!

That’s a great looking cardigan! I’m going to have to take another look at that pattern. It’s really gorgeous.

I think it looks great so far as we can see… what do you find unflattering about it? The bulk of the knit?

Congrats on having the werewithal to chat with us so soon after moving!!

K - if you tease us with a shower shot, you can’t do it in a sweater. Not cool. Really not cool.

Oooh - happy new house! And new cardigan - the patterning detail is gorgeous….

I think it looks great - not at all unflattering. The color is great on you.

Well, I think it looks really beautiful, and the colour is perfect. I’ll be waiting for more photos!

There’s absolutely NOTHING unflattering about that fab sweater! I like that it fits closely to your body, rather than looking drapey and bulky. Looks wonderful. I absolutely want one of these after seeing yours finished.

Oh, but it’s so pretty! Would you like it better if you wore it unbuttoned?

I can empathise with the move - we are in the midst of that right now as well. The sweater looks great - I love that shade of green.
