kelp! needs help!

Yarnival! Go check it out. I’m in there (at the bottom. no, scroll up a bit. bingo!), for the whole complaining-about-the-header thing. Cara did a great job with Yarnival, so yeah!

Also, I don’t have an accent, no matter what my mother says.

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

“You have a Midland accent” is just another way of saying “you don’t have an accent.” You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

I also got “The Midland.” with “the west,” “the south,” and “boston” being my top three results, respectively.

You have at the very least an American accent.

Me three…I think it’s mostly true, but I can’t lose my “y’all” and there are certainly words where you can hear my Texas. (Though an awful lot of people say they’d never know if I didn’t tell them.)

I do think you have a *little* bit of a regional accent…a *little.* Though you probably don’t really have one “at home.” Sounds like we’re in the same boat!

I’m neither American, nor accented but I tried it just for fun, apparently “the west” is how I sound. Well, I suppose western canada……

Yeah, I showed up as a midland, but really, I don’t even notice the “Texas” til I’m out of it. My friend Andy is English and he just adores the “slow Texas drawl” that he swears I have. I can only hear it every once in a while.

The heck you don’t! But really, it’s not THAT bad. Saw you on the Yarnival - way to go. Wait a minute - they said I’m from the Inland North. Could they be more wrong? It’s soda - not pop.

Congrats on Yarnival! I got “The Midland” too, which is almost correct for me. Some people have said I have a Chicago accent, but I don’t think so.

Here is a comment so that you can find me.

    I’m a Midlander, too!
