Sockpalooza!
I joined Sockpalooza because I am totally on a sock-knitting swing right now. I fell in deep deep love with Knitty’s Pomatomus when I first saw it, and this is the perfect opportunity to make it! I’m using Koigu, in a semi-solid dark pinky-purpley color.
The chart for this pattern is easier than I thought - basically K1tbl, P1 around, with one decrease and one YO per repeat. I really love the way that it’s turning out so far.

That is beautiful - thanks so much for your update!
Wow, the sock is so lovely! I don’t think I’ve ever seen the pattern so clearly as on your sock. They’re going to be beautiful.
I can’t wait to try out this pattern. Your socks are turning out great!
these look so awesome - your sockpal will be thrilled. i may have to make these for my pal as well.
Surfed over from Alison’s and I have to say…those socks are fabulous! I love the color and the pattern is great in that solid Koigu! Great stitch definition. I’m gonna have to knit me some of these!
I agree, very pretty! Looking at your sock makes it so obvious that they turn out best in solid colour! Easy pattern you say? I am desperate about the fact that I cannot knit them blind at the moment. The pattern is interesting but not exciting enough to keep me wanting to watch every single stitch. However, your sock looks fabulous so far and I also love the whimsical smile of Spherey in your banner!
Your sock looks great! Love the color you chose.
